Company profile

Bespoke Automation from Ansbach

Automation and palletizing systems for efficient end-of-line processes: With around 300 employees, transnova-RUF GmbH develops and implements high-performance machines and systems for the automation of end-of-line processes. Our focus is on intelligent solutions for packaging automation and palletizing systems that efficiently connect production lines with logistics and distribution.

At the end of every production run, the efficiency of end-of-line processes dictates economic viability, process reliability, and delivery capability. Our automated packaging and palletising solutions ensure that products are prepared for transport, storage, and trade reliably, quickly, and optimally.

At the heart of everything we do is our customers' individual packaging task. We develop automation solutions that are precisely tailored to products, processes, and performance requirements – with the aim of increasing productivity, reducing costs, and sustainably optimising processes.

Our experienced engineers in sales, development, and project planning support projects from the initial concept to the turnkey plant. Through the use of modular machine concepts, flexible and scalable systems are created for the most diverse requirements of end-of-line automation. The result is high-performance automation plants and palletising systems that offer maximum efficiency, reliability, and future-proofing. Our principle: Design to Order – customised automation instead of standard solutions.

Our values

What drives us

Design to Order

No standard machines. Every system is precisely tailored to the customer's packaging task – bespoke rather than off-the-shelf.

Human at the centre

At the family business transnova-RUF, people are at the heart of everything. We want to provide everyone with a place for personal fulfilment and to share in our collective success.

Quality & Reliability

We stand by our good reputation for the quality of our system solutions. Convincing problem solutions, executed to a high standard of quality and reliable in operation.

Micro-modularity

Functional micro-modules instead of monolithic systems. Our unique modular system principle allows for maximum flexibility with minimal space requirement.

Robotics expertise

Over 200 robot integrations per year, over 30 years of experience, all robot types – global leader in end-of-line packaging.

Service mentality

Professional service is an integral part of our company philosophy. Contact persons are available quickly and with professional competence at all times.

Turnkey solutions provider

Complete end-of-line packaging lines, including purchased components, from a single source – from concept to turnkey system.

Long-standing partnerships

>80% Existing customers – developing new paths and technologies together. Trust that has grown over decades.

Manufacturing & Assembly

From engineering to commissioning

From compact single machines to powerful picker systems for rapid pick-and-place applications, robotic systems for order picking, palletising and depalletising tasks, to complete end-of-line packaging systems: transnova-RUF GmbH implements automation solutions for the entire end-of-line logistics.

This is based on a modular system that allows for maximum flexibility in plant design. This results in tailor-made systems that are precisely matched to our customers' products, processes, and performance requirements.

Every year, we complete 60 to 80 automation projects with a project volume of €150,000 to €5 million. Each system is a unique, individual unit – developed, manufactured, and implemented for the specific requirements of our customers.

Our Team

Highly qualified personnel for complex mechanical engineering

Complex automation solutions require highly qualified specialists. As a well-established, medium-sized company, we invest specifically in the training and development of our employees. We train our Electronics Technicians for Automation Engineering ourselves as part of a scholarship system – a sustainable way to secure qualified and long-term available specialist personnel.

Over 75 engineers and specialists are working in development and engineering on innovative automation solutions for packaging and palletising processes. The result: high-performance systems based on the latest mechanical engineering technology, realised in collaboration with leading component and system partners.
